Panagiotis Sotiris is an Assistant Professor of Social and Political Philosophy in the Department of Sociology at the University of the Aegean. He holds a PhD from the Department of Psychology at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. He studied Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy, at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is also a member of the editorial board of the international academic journal Historical Materialism: Research in Critical Marxist Theory and the Historical Materialism Book Series (De Gruyter Brill/Haymarket). His most recent book is Hegemony, Strategy, Organisation: Reading Gramsci Today (De Gruyter Brill, 2026, forthcoming).
