Dr. Andreas Golfinopoulos is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Education at the University of Münster, where he has been teaching since 2023. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Siegen. The title of his doctoral thesis is: "Germany as a Magnet for Highly Skilled Persons from Greece: A Qualitative Empirical Study of Actual and Potential Migrants." He holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Münster, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In addition, he taught and worked at the University of Cologne in the Department of Education and Social Sciences from 2018 to 2023. His research and teaching interests include migration and mobility, migration policy, education and migration, social inequality, and the internationalization of higher education.
